Frontier Lithium Inc. says its PAK Lithium Project has been included in both the Canada Investment Summit Prospectus and Ontario’s Deal Book, two documents distributed to investors at a national investment gathering held in Toronto this week.
The Greater Sudbury-based company, which trades on the TSX Venture Exchange, the OTCQB and the Frankfurt exchange, said the recognition places the project among a select group of Canadian opportunities being promoted to global institutional investors. The Canada Investment Summit was announced by Prime Minister Mark Carney and was hosted by the federal government in partnership with the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board and the Public Sector Pension Investment Board, taking place September 14 and 15, 2026.
Selection Among Hundreds of Projects
According to Frontier Lithium, the Summit’s prospectus featured 167 investment opportunities spanning eight sectors, including 63 projects within the minerals and metals category. The company said its PAK Lithium Project was one of only a limited number of lithium projects named in the document, which it described as underscoring the strategic significance of domestic lithium supply for Canada’s critical minerals sector.
The project also appeared in Ontario’s Deal Book, a separate compilation of 15 major investment opportunities presented by the province during the Summit. Premier Doug Ford’s government said the Deal Book covers critical minerals and mining, energy production and transmission, advanced manufacturing, and artificial intelligence. Frontier said its project was one of six mining and critical-minerals projects included in the Deal Book and the only lithium project among the 15 opportunities listed.

Company Reaction and Project Status
Trevor Walker, President and CEO of Frontier Lithium, said the recognition in both the federal prospectus and the provincial Deal Book reflects alignment between federal and provincial priorities, particularly alongside the project’s progress through the government’s One Project One Process framework and growing attention to supporting infrastructure. Walker said institutional investors have repeatedly stressed the importance of visible government backing and infrastructure planning, and that such developments help create conditions to attract private capital toward a domestic lithium supply chain.
Frontier describes the PAK Lithium Project as one of Canada’s most advanced lithium developments, aimed at producing battery-grade lithium chemicals for electric vehicle and energy storage markets in North America. The company said it continues to advance permitting, infrastructure, engineering and financing work as it moves toward a final investment decision on an integrated lithium mine and conversion facility in northwestern Ontario.
The project is structured as a joint venture between Frontier Lithium, which holds a 92.5 percent stake, and Mitsubishi Corporation, which holds the remaining 7.5 percent. It includes a planned mine and mill alongside a downstream conversion facility proposed for Thunder Bay, Ontario. A 2025 feasibility study prepared by DRA Americas Inc. outlined a 31-year project life with an after-tax net present value of C$932 million at an 8 percent discount rate and an after-tax internal rate of return of 17.9 percent, according to Frontier. Those results were disclosed in a company press release dated May 28, 2025, with the accompanying technical report filed on SEDAR+ on July 9, 2025.
Frontier Lithium describes itself as a pre-production mining company aiming to become an integrated supplier of premium spodumene concentrates and battery-grade lithium salts for North American electric vehicle and energy storage markets, and says its PAK project holds the largest land position and resource base in a premium lithium mineral district in Ontario’s Great Lakes region.
