A new 900-metre cross-strip runway at the Claresholm Airport is now officially open, following a project that included surface rehabilitation and pavement improvements.
The $305,000 project was funded through the Alberta Strategic Transportation Infrastructure Program’s Local Municipal Initiative stream, according to HighRiverOnline.
