Mizzica Gelateria & Cafe Set to Open Third Toronto Location on St. Clair West

Mizzica Gelateria & Cafe is expanding again, preparing to open a third Toronto storefront at 1080 St. Clair Ave. W., near the intersection of St. Clair and Dufferin in the Regal Heights Village neighbourhood.

Signage has already been installed at the site, suggesting the business is moving toward an opening, though no official date has been announced. Mizzica, an award-winning gelateria known for its Italian-style gelato and café menu, first built its reputation at its original location at Queen and John streets, which has drawn long lines of customers. The company opened a second Toronto location on Yonge Street in 2024.

A Growing Presence Along St. Clair West

The new location will add Mizzica to a stretch of St. Clair Avenue West that already includes a mix of restaurants, cafés, and independent businesses catering to neighbourhood residents. The corridor runs near Little Italy and Corso Italia, with Regal Heights Village situated farther west along the street.

Part of a Wider Wave of Openings

The expansion comes amid other recent business activity along the same corridor. Other openings reported in the area include Arthur’s Snackette, expected at 684 St. Clair Ave. W., and Café Belém’s expansion to 350 Oakwood Ave. in Corso Italia.

Mizzica has encouraged customers to follow its Instagram and Facebook accounts for updates on the new location’s progress.
