Smart Renovations, a kitchen and bathroom renovation company based in the Greater Toronto Area, has opened a second design showroom in Woodbridge, Vaughan, expanding its licensed design-build services across the west and central GTA.
The new location, at 8A-40 Innovation Drive, adds to the company’s original showroom on Bathurst Street in Richmond Hill, where Smart Renovations has operated since its founding in 2017. The Woodbridge showroom gives homeowners in Vaughan, Brampton, Mississauga, Etobicoke, Oakville and nearby communities direct access to the company’s design-build model, which includes free 3D design consultations, fixed-price quotes and permit management.
A Decade of Growth in the GTA Market
Smart Renovations was founded by Tina Wu, who previously worked in the cabinetry manufacturing industry. According to the company, Wu built the business around a model in which one team handles both design and construction under a single contract, with fixed-price quotes issued before demolition begins and a one-year labour warranty on completed projects.
“The number we quote is the number homeowners pay,” Wu said, adding that the company’s approach aims to avoid mid-project cost increases or unapproved changes.
Since its founding in 2017, the company says it has completed more than 1,000 kitchen and bathroom renovation projects across the GTA and has received eight consecutive Best of Houzz Awards, alongside a combined 4.9-star rating across Google and Houzz. The company states it is WSIB certified, carries $5 million in liability insurance, works with a licensed electrician on every project, and is verified on HomeStars and the Canadian Business Review Board.

Expansion Driven by West GTA Demand
The company said the decision to open the Woodbridge location was driven by project data showing a growing share of its completed work coming from homeowners in Vaughan, Brampton, Mississauga, Etobicoke and western Toronto — areas that previously required clients to travel to the Richmond Hill showroom for in-person consultations.
“We were already doing a lot of work in west GTA,” Wu said. “Our clients there deserve the same local experience our Richmond Hill clients get.”
The Woodbridge showroom is now fully operational with its own design consultants and project management staff, and has direct access to the company’s licensed trades network. Both showrooms offer full design-build kitchen renovations ranging from $25,000 to $130,000 and bathroom renovations ranging from $15,000 to $100,000, along with standalone design consultation services. Every project includes a fixed-price quote issued after design approval, a written change-order process requiring homeowner sign-off, and a one-year labour warranty.
The company’s combined service area now spans Toronto, Richmond Hill, Vaughan, Markham, Mississauga, Brampton, Etobicoke, Oakville, Aurora, Newmarket and surrounding GTA communities, with free in-home consultations offered through either location.
