A long-running car dealership in Brockville, Ontario is under new ownership and will soon operate under a new name as part of a broader plan for growth at its Stewart Boulevard location.
Dane Fellows and John Hinton have acquired Beattie Dodge and announced the dealership will be renamed Brockville Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in the coming days. The business is located at 827 Stewart Boulevard.
Staffing and Hours Under New Ownership
The new owners say the existing team at the dealership will stay on, with additional employees being brought in as the business expands. They say the changeover is also expected to create opportunities for staff development going forward.
The sales department has already reopened under the new ownership with extended hours, running from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. The service department will continue to operate on its existing schedule of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. According to the dealership, there are currently more than 60 new vehicles on the lot.
Expansion Plans for the Site
Fellows and Hinton say they intend to build a new facility at the Stewart Boulevard location, though they note that construction will take place over an extended timeline rather than immediately.
The new owners also say that supporting the local community will remain part of the dealership’s operations moving forward, including continued backing of local charities and youth sports programs in the Brockville area.
